- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Cream sugar, margarine and shortening until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.

2Beat in vanilla.

3In separate bowl combine cake flour and baking powder. Add to cream mixture.

4Add milk and beat for 5 minutes.

5Pour batter into a greased and floured loaf pan.

6Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
