  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 potatoes, cubed
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 tsp. dill
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 lb. halibut
  • 1/2 c. white wine
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. milk

Directions

    Simmer all ingredients except halibut, wine and parsley for 20 to 30 minutes.

    Add chunks of halibut, wine and parsley.

    Cook for 10 minutes.

    Add 2 tablespoons flour to 1/2 cup milk.

    Stir until smooth and add to chowder to thicken.
