- 1 medium head cabbage
- 1 large Spanish or yellow onion
- 8 oz. uncooked egg noodles
- 1/4 lb. butter or margarine
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook noodles according to package directions and drain.

2Melt butter in deep skillet.

3Slice cabbage into thin strips.

4Cut onion into rings approximately 1/8 inch thick.

5Fry cabbage and onion until cabbage just begins to brown.

6Volume will reduce as it cooks; stir constantly.

7Add noodles, salt and pepper. Continue stirring until noodles are heated.

8Serve immediately.
