  • 1 c. diced, cooked ham
  • 2 c. milk, scalded
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
  • 2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 6 eggs, separated

Directions

    Combine ham, milk, butter, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Stir in egg yolks.

    Beat egg whites until they are stiff, but not dry.

    Fold egg whites into egg yolk mixture.

    Pour into 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish that has been rubbed with butter.

    Bake in a slow oven (325°) for 20 to 25 minutes or until firm to the touch. Serve at once.
