Ham-Asparagus Rolls

- 2/3 c. Minute rice, cooked
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 8 slices boneless ham, cut in quarters (deli cut)
- 24 to 32 asparagus spears
Directions

1Melt margarine in saucepan, blend in flour, salt and milk; cook until thickened.

2Add Swiss cheese and stir until melted. Combine cooked rice with this mixture.

3Remove 1 cup sauce mixture to separate container.

4Put 1 tablespoon or so on narrow end of ham slice quarters.

5Top this with several asparagus spears.

6Roll ham around spears.

7Place in 2-quart greased casserole dish, edge side down.

8Pour remaining sauce over.

9Sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.

10Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
