Ingredients
- 1 trimmed ham bone
- 1 medium can tomatoes
- 2 ribs celery, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. barley
- salt
- 2 large potatoes, diced
- 6 qt. water
- 1 tsp. dried parsley
- 3 peppercorns
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 1/2 head cabbage, cut up
Directions

1Place ham bone in a 2 gallon kettle; add water, tomatoes, parsley, celery, peppercorns, barley, carrots and salt to taste. Boil for 2 hours.

2Add cabbage and potatoes.

3Cook 30 minutes.
