Ham Breakfast Casserole

  • 5 c. cubed bread
  • 2 c. diced ham (cooked bacon or sausage can be substituted)
  • 1 medium can mushrooms, drained
  • 3/4 c. sharp cheese, grated
  • dash of salt and pepper
  • 2 c. milk

Directions

    Layer first 4 ingredients in an 8 1/2 x 11-inch pan.

    Mix the remainder and pour over.

    Refrigerate overnight.

    Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 10 minutes foil covered; remove foil for the last 10 minutes.

    This is great to make in advance for breakfast or lunch guests.

    Also keeps well in oven, warmed.
