Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground ham
  • 1 lb. ground raw pork
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/3 c. vinegar

Directions

    Mix the first 5 ingredients and put in bread pan.

    Bake slowly.

    Baste with brown sugar, water and vinegar; bring to a boil.

    Sometimes too much water is added to meat.

    I usually have to draw juice off before I baste.

    Takes about 2 hours at 350°. Serves 6.
