  • 1 large (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • dash of salt
  • 10 to 12 slices white sandwich bread
  • mayonnaise
  • 1 (4 1/2 oz.) large deviled ham
  • paprika

Directions

    Combine cream cheese, egg yolk, baking powder and salt.

    Mix until well blended.

    Cut bread in fourths.

    Spread each piece with mayonnaise.

    Spread each with small amount of ham.

    Spoon on cheese mixture and sprinkle with paprika.

    Put in 375° oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until puffed and brown.

    Serve.

    Makes about 45 appetizers.
