- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 lb. ham salad
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2In saucepan, heat water and butter to rolling boil.

3Stir in flour.

4Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture forms a ball, about 1 minute.

5Remove from heat.

6Beat in eggs, all at once, until smooth and glossy.

7Drop dough by slightly rounded teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheet.

8Bake for about 25 minutes, or until puffed, golden brown and dry.

9Place on wire rack.

10Cool.

11Cut off tops.

12Remove soft dough.

13Fill each puff with rounded teaspoon of ham salad.

14Makes 5 or 6 dozen.
