  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • chopped onions
  • mushrooms (optional)
  • pats of margarine
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can beef broth

Directions

    Put 1 cup raw rice in bottom of baking dish.

    Brown hamburger along with onions and mushrooms.

    Layer pats of margarine over raw rice and salt and pepper.

    Pour hamburger mixture over rice and then pour on 1 cup broth, adding a little water if needed to cover rice.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
