Hamburger Biscuit Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. shredded sharp cheese
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1 envelope biscuit mix
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 2 Tbsp. dry Lipton onion soup mix
  • 2 Tbsp. water

Directions

    Brown ground beef and chopped onion; salt lightly.

    Remove from heat and add shredded cheese and parsley.

    Stir in mayonnaise.

    Add water to envelope of biscuit mix.

    Knead lightly. Divide in half.

    Roll out two 8-inch circles.

    Place one in 8-inch casserole round dish and cover with beef and cheese mixture. Top with second circle of biscuit mix.

    Bake at 375° for a half hour, or until browned and done.

    Cut into wedges.

    Serve with mushroom soup sauce.
