  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 whole Onion, Chopped
  • 28 ounces, weight Canned Diced Tomatoes
  • 58 ounces, fluid Beef Broth
  • 10-3/4 ounces, weight Canned Tomato Soup
  • 3 stalks Celery, Chopped (with Tops)
  • 1 cup Sliced Carrots
  • 1/2 cups Pearl Barley (you Can Add Up To 3/4 Cup)
  • 1 cup Frozen Green Beans
  • 1 cup Frozen Corn
  • 1 cup Frozen Lima Beans
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas

Directions

    Brown hamburger with chopped onion. Pour off most liquid.

    Add diced tomatoes, beef broth and tomato soup. Add celery, carrots and barley. Boil slowly for 45 minutes.

    Add frozen veggies. Simmer covered for 1 hour. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
