Hamburger Corn Pie

Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1/4 lb. pork sausage
- 1/4 chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 20 to 24 ripe pitted olives
- 1 1/2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cook and stir hamburger, sausage, onion and garlic until meat is brown; drain.

2Stir in tomatoes with liquid, corn, olives, chili powder and salt.

3Heat to boiling.

4Pour in ungreased baking dish (9 x 9 x 2-inch) or 2 quart casserole. Mix cornmeal, milk and eggs.

5Pour over meat mixture.

6Sprinkle with cheese.

7Cook in 350° oven for 40 to 50 minutes.

8Garnish with parsley sprigs and black olives if desired.
