- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 can drained peas
- 1 can tomato soup
- 3 or 4 strips bacon
Directions

1Brown hamburger in 2 tablespoons butter.

2Add salt and celery salt.

3Add celery, onion and green pepper.

4Simmer slowly for 15 to 20 minutes.

5Place in casserole, cover with cooked rice, then layer of peas and top with tomato soup.

6Lay strips of bacon over top.

7Cover and put in oven at 350°.

8Cook 30 to 40 minutes. Remove cover and bake 5 to 10 minutes or until browned.
