Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 3/4 c. regular rice, uncooked
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 (5 oz.) can chow mein noodles
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Combine all the ingredients except the noodles and put in a 3-quart casserole dish. Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350°. Sprinkle noodles over top of the casserole and bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
