  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 pkg. Italian Seasonings spaghetti sauce mix
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato puree
  • 1 deep dish pie shell, browned
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella, grated
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. Cheddar, grated
  • onion and green pepper (optional)

Directions

    Brown ground beef; drain.

    Add 1/2 package spaghetti sauce mix and tomato puree; simmer.

    Cover bottom of browned pie shell with layer of meat sauce, then layer of cheese.

    Alternate meat sauce and cheese, ending with cheese.

    Top pie with cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
