Hand battered tilapia

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 dash light soy sauce
- 1/2 cup self raising flour
- 1 liter vegetable oil
- 4 tilapia fillets
Directions

1Fillet and thoroughly wash your fish.

2In a mixing bowl add the flour and gradually add the water stirring constantly.

3Add the soy sauce and season and mix it all in.

4Get a frying pan and add as much oil as it takes to cover at least half of the fish and put on a medium-high heat.

5Take each fillet and cover it in the batter, turning on to each side to ensure it's covered.

6Once the pan is preheated, take each fillet and place in the frying pan.

7Cook until each side is golden brown, turning half way through.

8Once browned, place on some kitchen roll to drain off excess oil.

9Serve with a fresh salad or chips, with a sweet chilli our guava dipping sauce.
