    Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil with the salt. When the water boils, use a slotted spoon to lower each egg into the water. When you place the last egg in the pot, cover and boil for 17 minutes-set your timer! When the timer goes off, immediately pour off the water and place eggs in a large bowl filled with ice and water. Chill thoroughly before peeling. If your eggs have any gray/green around the yolk, try cooking them 1 minute less.

    If you are cooking only a few eggs (say 4-6), you will probably want to cook them only 15 minutes.

    These peel without taking chunks of egg white out of your eggs!
