- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. water
- 2/3 c. Karo syrup (white)
- any flavor and any coloring
Directions

1Combine sugar, water and syrup.

2Place over low heat and stir constantly until it boils.

3Put in candy thermometer and cook to 300°.

4Remove from heat and add flavoring and coloring.

5Pour into buttered pan and cut with buttered scissors.

6Roll in bowl of powdered sugar.

7Shake off excess powdered sugar.
