Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2/3 c. Karo syrup (white)
  • any flavor and any coloring

Directions

    Combine sugar, water and syrup.

    Place over low heat and stir constantly until it boils.
  3. 3
    Put in candy thermometer and cook to 300°.
  4. 4
    Remove from heat and add flavoring and coloring.
  5. 5
    Pour into buttered pan and cut with buttered scissors.
  6. 6
    Roll in bowl of powdered sugar.
  7. 7
    Shake off excess powdered sugar.
