- 3 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. desired flavoring
- food coloring
Directions

1Mix sugar, syrup and water in a large saucepan.

2Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

3Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310° on candy thermometer.

4Remove from heat. After boiling has ceased, stir in flavoring and coloring.

5Pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet.

6Cool; break into pieces. Store in airtight container.

7Makes about 2 pounds.
