- 2/3 c. syrup
- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. hot water
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. flavoring (depending on flavor)
- coloring (however much you want)
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Heat first 3 ingredients.

2Add coloring at 250°.

3Continue cooking to 300°.

4Add flavoring after boiling to 300° and turn off heat.

5Pour onto a buttered cookie sheet.

6Slice into strips and quickly cut with scissors into small pieces.

7Place small pieces in powdered sugar as you cut them.
