  • 3 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. food coloring
  • 1 tsp. oil flavoring (wintergreen, cinnamon, peppermint, etc.)
  • powdered sugar

Directions

  1. 1
    Cook with candy thermometer until 300° (hard crack), then add 1/2 teaspoon of food coloring and 1 teaspoon of oil flavoring. Pour over powdered sugar which has been leveled in large cookie sheet.
