- 1 regular size can sliced beets
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch or 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix sugar and cornstarch.

2Add water and vinegar; boil together for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add drained beets to hot sauce and let stand for 30 minutes, more or less.

3Reheat carefully and serve.
