  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 (16 oz.) can beets, drained
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Combine sugar, vinegar and cornstarch.

    Boil 5 minutes.

    Pour over prepared beets in saucepan; add butter and let stand 30 minutes.

    If necessary, warm before serving.
