- 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 12 small beets, cooked and sliced or cubed
Directions

1Mix in a saucepan the sugar and cornstarch.

2Add vinegar and water.

3Boil 5 minutes.

4Add beets.

5Let stand 30 minutes or more. Just before serving, bring to the boiling point.

6Add 2 tablespoons butter.
