- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. vinegar
- 6 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Slice beets and drain juice.

2Save liquid.

3Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt; blend well.

4Add 1 1/2 cups beet juice and vinegar.

5Cook until juice is thickened (about 10 minutes).

6Add beets and heat thoroughly.

7Serve with butter topping.
