- 4 c. cooked beets, sliced or diced
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/3 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Combine sugar and cornstarch.

2Add vinegar and water; boil for 5 minutes.

3Add beets and simmer 1/2 hour.

4Add butter and season with salt and pepper.
