- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- dash of salt
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Directions

1Drain liquid from beets into sauce pan.

2Season liquid with the remaining ingredients.

3Bring mixture to a boil, then thicken with:

42 Tbsp. Argo Starch that you have mixed with a little water.

5Stir into hot liquid and cook until thickened the way you want it.

6Pour beets into hot liquid and cook.

7Stir until thickened.
