  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • salt
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans beets, drained

    Mix sugar and cornstarch.

    Boil 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

    Add butter and drained beets.

    Salt to taste.
