  • 1 (16 oz.) can sliced or diced beets
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/3 c. liquid (from drained beets)

Directions

    In a medium saucepan, combine reserved liquid, sugar, vinegar and cornstarch.

    Cook and stir until thickened.

    Cook and stir 2 minutes more.

    Stir in beets and margarine.

    Heat through.
