  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp. red beet juice
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 (No. 2) can red beets, drained

    Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch in medium saucepan.

    Add vinegar and beet juice.

    Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until thick and clear.

    Add 1 tablespoon butter and drained beets.
