  • large can beets
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • slightly more than 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. slightly rounded flour, mixed with sugar

Directions

    Pour off almost 3/4 cup juice; add vinegar.

    Mix with sugar, flour and salt and cook over medium heat until thickened.

    Pour beets into mixture until hot through.
