  • 1 (16 oz)can diced beets
  • 1/2 c. white vinegar
  • 3/4 c. white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Drain beet liquid into medium saucepan. To Liquid add vinegar, sugar, cornstarch and salt. Bring to boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to medium low and sir in beets and cook until heated through.

    **If you use fresh beets, clean, peel and boil until almost tender. Add other ingredients and complete recipe.
