- 3 c. cooked, diced beets
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch.

2Add vinegar and water; stir until smooth. Cook for 5 minutes. Add beets to the hot sauce and let stand for 30 minutes. Just before serving, bring to a boil and add butter. Makes 6 servings.
