- 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. vinegar (cider vinegar)
Directions

1Boil sugar, vinegar and cornstarch together for 5 minutes. Add beets and let stand 1/2 hour or more.

2Before serving, heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
