Ingredients

  • 2 cans beets, diced or quartered
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. vinegar (cider vinegar)

Directions

    Boil sugar, vinegar and cornstarch together for 5 minutes. Add beets and let stand 1/2 hour or more.
  2. 2
    Before serving, heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
