  • 1 1/2 c. cubed stew meat
  • 2 c. cubed potatoes
  • 1 c. cubed celery
  • 6 medium carrots, cubed
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. instant tapioca
  • 3 c. tomato juice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Mix everything together and put in Dutch oven.

    Bake 5 hours at 225° to 250°.

    Do not take lid off while baking.

    This may also be cooked in crock-pot.
