  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 lb. crushed hazelnuts

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add egg yolks, flour and hazelnuts.

    Roll dough into bars about the size of a finger and cut into 3-inch pieces.

    Brush with a beaten egg and bake in moderate oven (350°) for 12 to 15 minutes.
