  • 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 handfuls chips, smashed
  • 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Mix frozen hash browns, sour cream, soup, chips and cheese (reserve some cheese for topping) together.

    Brown butter and onion; add to hash browns.

    Place in deep 9 x 13-inch baking dish for 45 minutes at 375°.

    Sprinkle remaining cheese on top for 5 minutes before done.
