- 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 stick butter
- 2 handfuls chips, smashed
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Mix frozen hash browns, sour cream, soup, chips and cheese (reserve some cheese for topping) together.

2Brown butter and onion; add to hash browns.

3Place in deep 9 x 13-inch baking dish for 45 minutes at 375°.

4Sprinkle remaining cheese on top for 5 minutes before done.
