  • 4 c. frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions, sauteed in butter
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Thaw potatoes a little and spread in a 9 x 13-inch buttered casserole dish.

    Mix and cream the sauteed onions, cream cheese and soup.

    Pour mixture over potatoes and top with grated Cheddar cheese.

    Bake at 350° to 400° for 45 minutes.
