- 2 lb. bag frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1 1/2 sticks butter (save little for top)
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 box sour cream (8 oz.)
- 10 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
- garlic salt and black pepper to taste
- corn flakes
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together except the reserved butter and corn flakes.

2Pour into well-greased casserole dish.

3Sprinkle top with corn flakes.

4Pour reserved butter over top.

5Bake 1 hour at 350°.
