- 2 lb. pkg. hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Mix all ingredients well.

2Pour into buttered casserole dish. Cover with 1 cup crushed corn flakes and 1/4 cup margarine.

3Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

4Test potatoes for doneness in about 50 minutes.
