  • 1 (24 oz.) pkg. hash browns, thawed
  • 1/3 c. butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp. green chilies, diced
  • 2 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 c. cooked ham, diced
  • 1/2 c. half and half or milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

    Blot shredded, thawed hash browns with paper towel.

    Spread in buttered 9-inch pie plate, press to form solid crust.

    Brush with butter.

    Bake at 425° for 25 minutes.

    Sprinkle with cheese, chilies and ham.

    Beat half and half, eggs, salt and pepper together.

    Pour over cheese mixture.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, or until knife inserted at center comes out clean.
