- 4 medium oblong potatoes
- 5 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Peel potatoes or leave skins on and scrub with brush.

2With sharp knife, slice each potato crosswise every 1/4 to 1/2-inch, but not quite all the way through.

3Place potatoes in a buttered pie plate.

4Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of melted butter and sprinkle with salt.

5Bake for 30 minutes at 425°.

6Sprinkle bread crumbs over potatoes and drizzle with remaining butter.

7Bake 20 minutes.

8Sprinkle with cheese.

9Baste with butter from pie plate. Bake 20 minutes or until tender.
