- 8 pieces chicken (thighs, legs and breasts are the best)
- 1 1/2 c. teriyaki sauce and marinade (e.g., Kikkoman brand)
- 2 c. pineapple juice
- 1 piece fresh ginger root, grated (about 2-inches long)
- 12 cloves garlic, mashed
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- rice, green pepper, onion and pineapple chunks (optional)
Directions

1In large bowl, combine teriyaki sauce, juice, ginger, garlic and sugar to form the marinade.

2Wash chicken pieces and add to bowl.

3Marinate chicken for 15 to 20 minutes, turning once or twice.*

4Remove chicken from marinade.

5Arrange in a baking pan. Pour marinade over chicken.
