- 2 c. long grain white rice (uncooked)
- 2 cans Campbell's consomme soup, plus 2 c. water
- 1 large brown onion, chopped
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cubes butter
Directions

1In a large electric skillet, melt butter.

2Saute onion and bell pepper until tender, but firm.

3Add the consomme soup (mixed with 2 cups water) and the white rice.

4Bake at 350° for 1 hour, stirring every so often to avoid sticking.

5It may be necessary to reduce heat.

6(May also be placed in a large Pyrex bowl, after bell pepper and onion are sauteed, with all ingredients.)
