  • 1 (6 ounce) package butterscotch chips
  • 1 (5 ounce) package chow mein noodles
  • 1 -2 cup peanuts (optional) or 1 -2 cup cashews (optional)

Directions

    In the top of a double broiler, melt Butterscotch chips over boiling water at low heat.

    Stir occasionally until all melted.

    Remove from heat and stir quickly to prevent sticking.

    Mix in Chow Mein noodles and nuts.

    Drop by rounded teaspoons onto wax paper.

    Let stand until firm.

    Can be refrigerated.
