  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 5 Heath candy bars

Directions

    Mix together the flour, brown sugar and stick of butter (softened).

    Reserve 1 cup for later use. Add the milk, baking soda, salt, egg and vanilla.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Pour batter in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle reserved mixture on top of batter.

    Crush the Heath bars while still in the package with a hammer or meat cleaver.

    Open the packages and sprinkle on top of batter. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
