  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 2 c. toasted, blanched almond bits
  • 4 (4.5 oz.) milk chocolate bars

Directions

    Melt butter in large pan.

    Add sugar, corn syrup and water. Cook to hard crack (300°), stirring occasionally.

    Add 1 cup almond bits and stir.

    Spread in well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Cool.

    Turn candy out of 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan onto wax paper.
