  • 1 stick margarine, softened and melted
  • 1 tsp. sweet basil leaves
  • 1/3 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. tarragon leaves
  • 5 or 6 rosemary leaves
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • garlic to taste
  • ground rind of 1/4 lemon
  • loaf of French bread

Directions

    Slice loaf of French bread and put mixture between slices and wrap loaf in foil.

    Place in a warm oven for about 20 minutes.

    Or spread mixture on barbecue or loaf bread and toast under broiler. Great with steaks, spaghetti or any meats.
